A home-visit acupuncture session with At Home Acupuncture currently costs $189. That covers treatment of around 45 to 60 minutes in your own home on the North Shore or Northern Beaches, including travel and equipment. For people receiving Support at Home aged care services, it may be possible to use their funding instead.

Why home visits can cost more than clinic visits
A home visit includes travel time and setting up. For many people, especially older clients or those recovering from illness, the cost is balanced by what they save: no transport, parking or waiting room, and no family member taking time off to drive them.
Using Support at Home funding
Acupuncture is on the government’s Support at Home service list (Support at Home service list), so it may be possible to use aged care funding, depending on the person’s support plan. A participant contribution may apply.
There is potential for Anthony to be onboarded as an associate provider with your Support at Home provider. To get this started, make a request to your care manager.
How many sessions people usually need
It varies. For a longer-standing problem, Anthony will usually suggest a short course of treatment, then a review of whether it’s helping, before you commit to more. You’ll know what’s planned before you spend more money.
When to seek medical review as well
If your symptoms are new, severe or getting worse, see your GP first. Some problems need medical assessment before acupuncture is appropriate.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer a free chat before booking?
Yes. Call Anthony to talk through whether acupuncture suits your situation before you book.
Is the first visit more expensive?
No, the fee is the same. The first visit is usually longer, because it includes the assessment.
Is there an extra charge for my suburb?
Not within the North Shore and Northern Beaches. For addresses outside these areas, ask when you call.
